Friday 5: Nathan and Kayla Liebert of Cajun Market Donut Company

Nathan and Kayla Liebert are the Husband/Wife team behind one of Lafayette's newest donut holes, Cajun Market Donut Company. They have made their presence known in the local donut scene with their sweet and savory selections, have even partnered with UL Lafayette to provide their donuts and kolaches on campus and are even opening a second location. Get to know the Lieberts in this week's Friday 5.


1. Date Night- My wife and I try to have date night twice a month so we eat at quite a few different places but our usual go-to place is Zea's. It's very consistent and can't beat the service.

2. Hole in the wall- Would have to be Saigon Noodle House. They have the best Pad Thai!

3-5. Introducing People to Lafayette/ Best King Cake/ Best Boudin- Definitely Cajun Market Donut Company! By far the best Fried King Cake, best Boudin Kolaches and Boudin King Cake with great Cajun atmosphere and great service.

Special Occasion- We really like Ruth's Chris as does everyone else. I always get the Ribeye, medium rare, with blue cheese on top. Can't beat it.
